Lisa Thorson is an accomplished vocalist, composer, arranger, lyricist,
educator and leader of Lisa Thorson and Company --- a jazz quintet. The quintet has
been performing together for over ten years in clubs, concert halls, festivals, colleges
and community events throughout the United States and Canada. A large part of Lisa
Thorson and Company's success and popularity can be attributed to longevity and a spirited
kinship. What has resulted over time is an ensemble that shares the writing duties
to create a repertoire known for its unique mix of original compositions and innovative
